stitch fix reveal #6

i can’t believe it’s been a whole month already!!! eek!!

my note to amy {my stylist} said something around the lines of: keep the color coming, it’s still summer heat in these parts, and i’m still chasing twin one year olds at the park!

amy totally is nailing my style these days and when i peeked {i just can’t help it!!!} i was SO excited to tear into this beautiful little box!! actually, if i’m being honest, i was terrified to get this fix because i knew from the moment i peeked that i would love every single piece and my wallet can’t afford that!
i love it because every one of these pieces scream my name, but then there’s always some reason i wouldn’t have grabbed it off the shelf…. one of my favorite things about stitch fix is that it gets you as much out of your comfort zone as you want!

so if you haven’t jumped head first into stitch fix…1. you need to. 2. here’s what this little box is all about:

1. you fill out your style profile, answering all sorts of questions on sizing, pricing, preferences, colors, etc. you can also write notes about likes/dislikes. linking your board on Pinterest so your stylist can see what you like is a huge help so your stylist can get a good picture of the types of things you like!
2. schedule your fix! you will be charged a $20 styling fee however, if you keep any item (or more) you will be credited back the $20. i always recommend keeping at least one item or you are essentially giving away $20.
3.  best mail day evvvvver.  you will receive 5 items (clothing, jewelry + accessories, whatever you prefer). i personally only want clothing in my fix so I just always let my stylist know!
3. take 3 days to decide what you want to keep/send back (in a postage paid envelope, of course).  use this time to try everything on.  match what’s in your closet, use your jewelry, walk around in it… this is my favorite part. i hate buying a shirt only to get home and realize i have nothing to wear with it. with stitch fix, this isn’t a problem!! bonus: if you keep all 5 items you will receive 25% off your entire fix, yaaaas!
it should be noted that while I have chosen to receive fixes randomly when i choose (when i have an event coming or need something new), you can also opt to receive fixes on a schedule (monthly, 2x/year, etc.). i started stitch fix almost 3 years ago and have randomly received fixes then!
**stitch fix also offers maternity clothes now and gift cards that you can give which make a perfect surprise present for any woman!
as always, if you ever have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
okay now seriously, let’s get this show on the road! if you see anything that you like below, feel free to pin away and/or ask your stylist in the notes section of your next fix for something similar! i am the queen of copying other fixes!

{verdict: not sure!}
i was super excited to see this piece when i peeked, but then i opened the box and i was a little disappointed that the color wasn’t as bright as in the picture. but then i put this gem on and didn’t want to take it off. it is flattering, sexy + an easy go-to piece for date night, girls night or even a day full of errands with the girls. really it is more versatile than i ever could have imagined!!

goodness gracious. i loved this when i peeked. but then i put it on and oh my g o o o o s h. it’s beautiful. it’s feminine. it’s so comfy. there is detail. and simplicity. and it is just hands down my new favorite shirt. so so pretty!

{verdict: zach says keep, i’m not sure!}
alright ladies… so i pulled this out of the box and thought it was waaaaay too much pattern for the entire dress. but then i walked out and zach said ‘daaaaang.’ i wanted a maxi that was a little more fitted up top and again, amy nailed it!!
IMG_3423Liverpool Mira Skinny Jean
{verdict: my heart says yes, my wallet says no}
well well well. these beauts are a little slice of heaven.  the only two other pants i have bought from stitch fix have been liverpool and i have been so pleased with them…but these, well these just take the cake.  although i’m on the hunt for a distressed pair (since i may or may not have ripped my only pair of capris the other day where the sun don’t shine), i’m just not sure i can send these back.  plus, the reviews say they totally hold their shape all day!! ugh. they might have to be a fall staple!!

{verdict: ???}
at first i wasn’t sure, but every time i have put it on (which is mannnnny times), i’m loving it more and more! the best part of stitch fix is being able to try it on multiple times with multiple pieces in your closet and it just might have to be my go-to fall piece!! how perfect with this sweater?!
as usual, i totally need your help?!?!
question: if you could only choose one piece, which would it be?!?!

  1. Everything is beautiful! Stitch Fix is so dangerous, those stylists are too good. Those jeans and the dress are too good to send back…and I love the patterned tops and cardigan! The only one I’m on the fence about is the yellow one, but with the 25% off, its basically free!!

    1. Thanks, Jessica!! It is so dangerous and they’ve totally nailed my style!! Thanks for your input! :*
