If you had told me a few years ago that I would be checking “Bali Bucket List Trip” at Ayana Resort off my dream list, I probably would’ve laughed out loud. 😂 But here we are — a once-in-a-lifetime adventure filled with ocean-view sunsets, rooftop pools, fresh seafood, and unforgettable memories.

Our Bali Bucket List Trip was spent at the absolutely stunning AYANA Resort Rimba in Jimbaran, Bali. It’s everything you dream of and more — luxury, tropical beauty, and total relaxation all wrapped up in one gorgeous destination.

Our Bali Bucket List Trip: Where We Stayed and What We Loved

After 37 hours of travel (three flights — phew!), we landed in paradise.

AYANA Resort Rimba sits on a sprawling 90 hectares of cliffs, gardens, and private beach space in Jimbaran. It’s part of the larger AYANA Estate — which means 14 pools, multiple spas, private beach clubs, and over a dozen restaurants and bars (including the famous Rock Bar, perched right above the ocean!).

We loved:

• Infinity pools overlooking the Indian Ocean (seriously, out of a movie)
• Fresh seafood dinners we picked out right on the beach
• Sunset cocktails at rooftop bars with the dreamiest views
• Fitness centers our favorite was at the Residence! You can workout at any fitness center on property!
• The Spa that felt like a peaceful oasis.. literally, I immediately scheduled a 2nd one.

• Easy shuttle access around the massive property — so you can explore everything without ever needing to leave

Whether you wanted a full spa day, yoga class, beach lounging, or adventure into the city, AYANA Resort Rimba had it all.

What We Did During Our Bali Adventure

Of course, it wasn’t just poolside lounging (although… highly recommend). One day, we ventured out for a little local culture and sightseeing:

Monkey Sanctuary — have you ever seen monkeys play tag while swimming?! 😅

Tirta Empul Temple — a stunning and peaceful place

Ubud City shopping — local art, souvenirs, and all the Bali vibes

The rest of the time? Relaxing, recharging, FaceTiming the kids (and catching their soccer games over breakfast ❤️), and making memories with friends who have become like family.
