life is comical these days.
i found myself scrolling through my pictures about 3am the other night and got to giggling at what i was seeing..picture after picture of our daily lives that i never really thought twice about until i looked at them through very tired eyes.
it’s a hot mess express over here with 3 kids 2 and under…
here’s a good insight into our lives here lately…the no makeup, dirty hair, 3 cups of coffee…that i chugged at nap time because i lost it 12 times and microwaved 18 times from 6am to 2pm…and leggings life that i’m living lately.
1. you know you have toddlers + an infant when…
2. you are nursing in a bathroom, squatting with one toddler hanging on your knee while handing the other toddler toilet paper…
3. you breastfeed a screaming baby at 12 am, fall asleep at 1am, and wake up at 130am to a toddler screaming ‘mama!!!!’ because she had a bad dream… snuggle, fall back to sleep at 2am and are back up at 3am to feed again…
4. your toddler{s} walks around holding her baby doll up to her chest saying, ‘look mama, baby eat-a ma boob’
5. your toddlers discover sharpies…
6. you’ve served hot dogs 3 days in a row for some sort of ‘meal’
7. you’ve lost your coffee + microwaved it 16 times by nap time.
8. you have conversations with your spouse or friends more successfully through text than you do in person or on the phone.
9. you can read books, paint nails, build lego towers, cook dinner, go to the bathroom, eat cereal and tie shoes…all while nursing a baby.
10. you get to witness the most innocent and fierce love + bond form between siblings…all while your heart explodes into a million tiny pieces.
question: what’s your most ridiculous ‘you know you have toddler{s} + an infant when….’ story?!
you are a rockstar!
The ability to do all the things while nursing is vital! You’re doing a great job and your babies are precious (even with sharpie tattoos ?).
“I am woman, hear me roar,” is your theme song for sure! ???❤️?
I remember those days! My oldest was a toddler when my twins were born and it still amazes how much I could accomplish while carrying two newborns.
cute I remember nursing one and the other on the potty!!!!!!! maybe this weekend sneak out to starbucks for an hour and have a hot cup!
Way to go mama! My 4 year old thought your little girls were “Sooo cute”
I don’t have toddlers, but I absolutely love this post. The picture of you and all of your kids in the bathroom is incredible – you are SUPER MOM!
Love it.
