heeey! it’s been a minute since i’ve been around here but we’ve sure been busy behind the scenes!! if you follow along on instagram and facebook, you’ve likely seen me share about our wellness journey.. and y’all.. we. are. pumped for this new chapter in our lives! not-so-new to us, but new around here, let me give you the low down on what this means!
last year we made the decision to start removing toxins from our home… after my strokes, our journey through infertility, zach’s diabetes and cancer we realized we wanted to make some easy switches to what we’re allowing in our home…WITHOUT breaking our bank. especially with young kiddos, as i looked around the products in our house, everything was filled with toxins and came with warnings.
honestly, it was overwhelming and as i started to search labels and look up ingredients in common products, i was so disheartened. even the ones i THOUGHT were clean and safe weren’t {did you know companies don’t even have to disclose ingredients under the umbrella of ‘fragrance’?? it’s a giant loophole for companies, often containing ‘secret’ recipes of synthetic products that come with warnings like ‘may cause respiratory distress’ or ‘warning: toxic’…yuck.
i needed to start somewhere… so first was the candles. and y’all. this one was HARD until i realized that i didn’t have to give up my house smelling amazing. i just needed the easy button…..
