it’s friday!! it’s been a hot minute since i threw one of these up here… between vaca and life, this space has taken a little bit of a back seat but i’m excited to be back!
1. girl, wash your face
i’ve never listened to an audiobook {or podcast} but after a friend on facebook had highly recommended this book and then someone else found it on amazon for free, i figured we’d give it a try! zach + i turned it on for the road trip down to the lake and both were really enjoying it. i’m excited to finish it and snag my next audiobook but i need some recommendations so if you have any, pass them my way!
2. short overalls
after the 4th of july i received a TON of questions about the overalls i was wearing and everyone was shocked to hear they came from amazon! SO comfortable and at only $20, they’re a great alternative to the much more expensive versions i’ve seen around.
3. unplugging
it has been busy lately… family vacas with little to no service, pool days with 3 babes and only 2 hands, quality family time including little projects around the house… it’s just been busy and i’ve found myself putting down my phone a lot more and really soaking in all the moments with the kids. it’s really easy for me to get caught up in this space and i love the community + platform i’ve built here, but… it’s been really nice to unplug and just focus on family. i got a good recharge and i’m super excited to get back into the groove with things…plus, i have a couple of reader request posts coming atcha soon!
4. mama java coffee
if you follow on instagram, you’ve seen my love for mama java coffee and y’all, it’s deep. made for moms, by moms, it’s just as good hot as it is cold {#momlife}. my go to lately has been the french vanilla and i make it iced with 2 pumps caramel syrup + a little milk. i’m also in LOVE with the pack leader whi
ch has DOUBLE CAFFEINE so on those early morning workout days, i’m making myself a cup of that deliciousness….and bonus, it’s just as smooth as the rest of them!
5. baseball games
summertime means baseball games and while i’d be lying if i said i was a crazy baseball fan, i do love some good ballpark food + people watching. my mom + stepdad have season tickets to the reds games and the girls have a blast shoving their faces with cotton candy, icees + hot dogs. last weekend we got the chance to watch our nephew on the field in the catcher position, meet the umps, watch the coin flip and hang out with the catcher for the reds. it was SUCH a cool opportunity and the whole fam had a blast!
