hellllllllo, FRIDAY!!
i hope your having a great friday so far and are gearing up for the weekend ahead.  whether you’re booked or have nothing on the calendar, i hope it’s filled with sunshine and smiles!
we have a mixture of plans + nothing and as i sit here listening to the weather forecast, it looks like it’s going to be a chilly one….even getting back down into the 30’s! what in the world is it with this ohio weather?!

before i check out for the weekend, i want to leave you with some of my favorite things going on this week.  we had a fun week of appointments and i’ll be running out with the girls to check-in for another one.  if you’re new around here {thanks for stopping by!}, friday’s are reserved for things that are making me smile! i love to hear what fun things are going on in your world, so as always, leave a comment below if you think i should hear about something!

cheeks for breakfast anyone?! we finally got to see our sweet little miller earlier this week…and i’m pretty sure my mouth hung open most of the ultrasound.  this precious little boy isn’t so little and while i plan to do a full update soon, all you really need to know is i’m convinced half of his weight is in his cheeks. do you see those?!?! goodness gracious, i can’t wait to squeeze him up… i just can’t wait to meet him.

i’m pretty sure i say it on a weekly basis…so much has changed since the girls were itty bitty newborns and i’ve been really choosy about what items we’re getting this time around.  i learned a LOT about motherhood and life with twins and as we prepare to have another teeny baby in the house, we are adding a few additions to our baby things.  i can’t wait to share more about dock-a-tot , but THE big black box arrived on our doorstep and my mama heart was beyond giddy with excitement!

warm-weather fun
valiant effort on the smiles, guys… we had been at the park for 3 hours at this point and it was definitely nap time…not quite the time to pull out the camera. this was as good as it was going to get for a sucker bribe… BUT!! we played at the park for nearly 3 hours and look at those rosy red cheeks and skinned knees?! this warmer weather has me on cloud 489 and we are eating it up as much as possible.  we got to spend a few hours, including a picnic, playing with our cousins at one of our favorite parks.  i couldn’t believe how much the girls were doing on their own… climbing, sliding, teeter-tottering. it has a giant sandbox that is for sure a favorite and 3 different playgrounds for the kids to climb on.  SO much fun!

spring trends… is it just me or are you LOVING all the spring colors this season?! i can’t get enough of the pink blush everything and while i’m not really in the season for buying new clothes as i enter my last few weeks of pregnancy, i still can’t help but to ooh and ahh over all the pastels. with mother’s day coming up, this is the perfect opportunity to surprise the special mama’s in your life with their own box of happiness, or a gift card for them to use at their own convenience.  i’m certainly on the look-out for a new pair of sandals and will be on the hunt for some comfortable and easy pieces for post-partum nursing!
