HAPPY FRI-YAY!! The sun is finally shining and it’s feeling a little more like May!
May now holds such a special place in my heart, and specifically this weekend. This weekend, last year, changed my life forever and me into a mama. I was blessed with the most amazing gifts last year as Lila and Piper entered into the world at 9:29 and 9:31pm to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day themselves.
I’m kinda giggling to myself because really, there is no gift that could possibly top last years (although, I really could have waited for those gifts a couple weeks longer!)… I do think that this is such a special day as I get to celebrate being a mama, as well as all of the other mama’s in my life! I have been so blessed to have so many women who have made a huge impact in my life – my mom, mother-in-law, step-mom, aunts, close friends of my moms.
Let’s get to it! Friday’s are a day to share things that I’ve been loving lately. I always love to hear what you’re loving and what things I need to check out!! Feel free to play along in the comments section below!!
**Disclaimer: None of the items featured in Friday Favs are sponsored. The items featured are simply items I think would make fabulous gifts for the mama’s in your life. Some affiliate links may be included to which I will make a very small commission if you, the reader, make a purchase after clicking those links. As always, I truly appreciate your support and reading my blog!
If you’re a last minute shopper, here are some ideas for the mama’s in your life that you can still gift on Sunday!!
Stitch Fix:
I have been a huge fan of StitchFix for a couple of years now and this is THE PERFECT gift for any mamas out there looking to add pieces to their closet – especially if you don’t know exactly what they’re asking for! If you are looking for a last minute gift, you can click the blue link and click ‘Gift Card’ at the top. Wa-BAM you are done!! More info below if you are interested! They even have maternity clothes which makes this perfect for the expectant mama too!
Stitch Fix is an online shopping service where you fill out your personal profile (takes about 10 minutes) to help your stylist understand your style, budget, and sizes. When you schedule your fix, your stylist will send 5 pieces she thinks you’ll love. At this time, you’ll be charged a $20 ‘styling fee’ that is a credit that can go towards anything you choose to purchase from your shipment. Your ‘fix’ arrives (seriously best mail day ever) and you are encouraged to try EVERYTHING on…you are even sent a style card with ways to style that item. I always try to mix and match with things in your closet and have an open mind. You never know what will look good on you! You have 3 days to try everything on and make a decision then you keep what you love and send back (in a pre-paid shipping bag) what you don’t. Whether you keep all 5 items or send back 4, the most important part is to provide specific feedback on each item for your stylist. Fixes get better over time as your stylist really gets to know you and your preferences. Better yet – if you keep all 5 items you get 25% off everything!!
Honest Co. Soy Candles: Again, if you are late on the gifting department, you can purchase a gift card using this link that you can print off and give Sunday! These scented, non-GMO soy wax candles are amazing!! I have the Gardenia Jasmine and it is delightfully pleasant in this spring weather with aromatherapy from pure essential oils and extracts, ensuring hours of much-deserved delight and relaxation.
Personalized Necklace: Whether you’re looking for mom, grandma, daughter, etc. personalized jewelry is spot on. I have had my eye on this bar necklace with the girl’s names on it but there are so many options out there!! Check out some different small shops on Etsy to shop small! Here are some of my favs! Bar Necklace * Charm Necklace with birthstones
Mama Said Tees: I’ve talked about this company before and am seriously in love with their mission to spread kindness to the world. They have both adult size and children sizes and any mama would be lucky to be get one of these gems!!
Meal Delivery: Although I haven’t tried it yet, I have heard so many amazing things about this services and have been dying to try it out!! Again, if you’re looking for a last minute gift – – give the gift of meals with a gift card you can give on Sunday! I don’t know too many mamas out there that would turn down the opportunity for meals to be delivered – no thinking during the week for a healthy home-cooked meal?! YES PLEASE!!
Whether you are a pet mama, mama to big kids, babies, or longing to be a mom, I wish you the happiest of Mother’s Days this weekend!
Question: What’s the best gift you have received for being a mama – to babies, big kids or pets?!
xoxo,
Lindsey
