it is FRIDAY + officially november meaning we’re a mere 21 days from thanksgiving + 53 days away from christmas…are you ready?! but before i swing into full decor, cookie consumption + present wrapping mode, i wanted to wrap up the last bit of halloween!!

superhero families
we had SO MUCH fun year this year and had the chance to get dressed multiple times for a variety of trick-or-treat events but the biggest and best of them all was pulling together the girls wish for our crew to all dress up as superheroes! the day i finished ordering the girls costumes {batgirl + wonder woman}, i sent my sister a picture of the costumes and she quickly called to tell me that they were all dressing up as superheroes too! they just got back from a family trip to disney and attended the big halloween party there…which was clearly a little warmer than our 50 degree + pouring rain ohio weather!
the kids all had a blast… everyone LOVED the hulk…turns out family halloween costumes might be our jam.

wonder women
this deserves it’s own line…if i didn’t watch lila come out of my belly, i’d think she was was christine’s babe. from the haircut to their personality, i see my sister almost every time lila talks! it only made sense that these too would happen to choose the same halloween costume and seriously they were the cutest.

trunk or treat at goldfish swim school
the weather has been cold + wet all month long so when we had the chance to trunk or treat at goldfish, i knew the kids would have a blast! the girls picked out their ‘witch’ costume and paraded their little brother around to each booth. the families behind each booth were SO creative coming up with such fun + engaging activities while the kids made bank on candy! the best part according to these two sweet toothed witches was the final cotton candy booth…can’t say they don’t come by it honestly!

big girl dates
we took the big girls out for a very overdue date to kings island and had SO much fun! we have gold passes {thanks to my dad + stepmom} which includes the big pumpkin festival so we dropped mills off with grandma + grandpa for a 1:1 date with them and headed out! it was chilly + a little rainy which kept most of the crowss at bay…the girls didn’t seem to mind and we made it a point to ride their favorite, boo blasters 100x without the wait. they had so much fun getting all the attention and zach and i had a blast just loving on our big girls!

halloween throwback
i can’t end this post without one of my all-time favorite halloween pictures. pipers face is classic piper and the drama over the spider costume makes me giggle every time. being 18months was tough… and it will forever be my favorite.
i hope you had the most wonderful halloween and are gearing up for the holidays!
