it seems like just yesterday i did my maternity milk bath session with you in my belly, but here we are, your very own due date sweet girl, but we know, from experience, you babes just don’t read the book you’re supposed to. an unexpected, beautiful surprise, you came 6 weeks too early.

while it was 6 weeks too early, that also means we’ve had 6 extra weeks with you.

6 weeks of smelling that sweet little head
6 weeks of kissing those squishy little cheeks
6 weeks of counting your tiny little toes
6 weeks of snuggles
6 weeks watching your proud big sisters hold you
6 weeks of pats on your head by your big brother
6 weeks of sleepless nights
6 weeks watching your eyes light up when your daddy sings to you
6 weeks loving you, little miss maisley

it’s only been 6 weeks…and yet, i can’t imagine life without you. you’re the most perfect caboose to our crazy train and we love you with all our hearts, sweet girl.
