we’re so blessed to have summers off with our favorite guy which lends itself to all vacations being crammed into one summer. we both grew up doing family vacations that have carried over into adulthood so we have the opportunity to travel with 2 of the 3 sets of parents making memories with cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

we typically have pretty awful cell service when we head down to dale hollow which makes for the best week to truly unplug and spend quality time simply being with family. aside from taking some pictures, it was a nice break from my phone!

the days all looked pretty similar with a low key morning eating breakfast then headed out for the day on the boats. there’s typically 2 coves we hang out in and then we take a day to head to the cliffs for some cliff jumping.
zach’s family friends who are more like family came for the last day and the kids were in heaven with their buddies and we all loved having them around!

each year the kids get more and more adventurous and we always laugh at how differently they all enjoy the lake.

lila loves to swim, jump and be co-captain on the boats {piper’s getting better!}
miller just wants to sit and push buttons on the boat
maisley likes to sleep 😉

they all have a blast, swim their little hearts out and are exhausted at the end of the day.
pappaw typically bribes with ice cream for everything, mammaw is always the most giving of her time with the babes and the cousins have the most fun playing and building memories!
