mama + daughter maternity photo shoot

happy new year friends!! i’ve taken a bit of a break from the blog + social media while zach’s been home and it’s been the perfect break to get caught up on life and spend some much needed time just laughing, being mama/wife. we’re back at it feeling more motivated than ever to jump into this little corner of space and share all the new things for the year!
coming back to hit publish on what could be my favorite pictures ever…
golly these girls + how they’re growing.

knowing this is our last babe has made me so thankful for every single time i step out from behind the camera and get in with these girls… embracing this growing baby girl and everything my body has been capable of. from growing twins to a third and now a fourth sweet baby… i’m at awe of the blessings we’ve been given.

when the sweetest mama + shop owner, minnie lin of belle + kai reached out to ask if we could shoot some pics with her darling dresses i couldn’t say yes fast enough… i’d come across her page on instagram and quickly fell in love with her swoon-worthy dresses for the girls. i had no idea there were matching mama dresses and while i didn’t choose to exactly match, the beautiful boho vintage styles made it easy to coordinate {my favorite} with my girls! the dresses are stretchy and while this isn’t necessarily a maternity dress, there was plenty of room for the bump.
the girls are beyond into princesses right now and ask on a regular basis to dress fancy so i knew when i suggested a princess dance party they’d be all in…and they were. oftentimes with little girl dresses i find that they’re begging to get out of them because they’re itchy and pokey… but these dresses are so comfortable your littles can be fancy for hours without the slightest complaint.

we had SO much fun twirling and spinning and i can assure you not an hour goes by that their baby sissy isn’t showered in kissies.

the hormones are flowing over here but good golly they make me so proud. i have no idea how i got to be so lucky to be their mama but boy am i so grateful god chose me.
