happy monday, friends!
after high demand to share my stitch fix boxes on a more regular basis, i decided to make it a monthly happening and share my fixes on the first monday of each month…and here we are!
i have used stitch fix for coming up on 5 years now as my main way to get clothes in my closet. while i’ve always been a shopper and love clothes, i don’t have the time any more to get out with 3 babes, but more importantly, my body has changed so much after becoming ‘mama’ that my wardrobe has just needed some updating. things don’t fit me quite right, and ‘date night’ attire looks differently these days!
note to stylist
for this fix, i asked for a new shirt for date night, feminine detail and some items to start transitioning to spring {which is a joke because literally minutes before we started taking pictures, it was snowing. it’s very much still winter in ohio, but a girl can dream, right?!

stitch fix
if you’re not familiar with stitch fix, here’s the run down…and if you are, hop down to the reveal.
stitch fix box #20
pullover {stitch fix} | leggings | sneakers
1. madison lily – cora back detail pullover
i had asked my stylist for some items to transition to spring and she knows how much i love feminine detail so this was totally a winner for me. i love the color and while it’s cozy, it’s totally light enough to throw on with some capris + sandals for those upcoming {maybe} spring days! the back is a little hard to style, mainly because i have post-3rd-babe nursing boobs, so i have to wear a bra. the back is low enough that you can definitely see a strap so i opted for a feminine bralette that adds to the detail. this shirt is easily dressed up with some black skinnies + heels or worn with some leggings + sneaks like i did…and i feel like casual is the new black {or is it just me?!} so i’m thinking this one will be in my regular rotation!
verdict: keep
cardi {stitch fix} | shirt {stitch fix} | jeans | shoes
2. id: 23 – dan one pocket chambray top
this one is real cute and while i’ve layered it under this chunky cardigan that i received from my last fix, this is another one she sent me as a transitional piece. the sleeves roll up with tabs so it can easily be worn with some white denim for a classy look! i actually feel like this shirt was kind of boxy on me and ran a little big. while stitch fix does have the option to size down, and i probably would have to keep this shirt, they’re out of stock all together, meaning it’s a hot commodity!
ps…these shoes…. i bought them from a new-to-me small shop and i’m obsessed! i’m loving that leopard is a neutral these days and i’m pretty much finding every excuse in the world to wear them!
verdict: return
shirt {stitch fix} | jeans {stitch fix} | booties | purse
3. skies are blue – kaimana cold shoulder top
the more and more i look at this shirt in these pics, the more and more i’m in love. this was the shirt my stylist said she sent for the date night i requested and she totally hit the nail on the head! sexy while still feeling appropriate without the girls hanging out, i LOVED this shirt. i will absolutely be wearing this on repeat for the spring and summer season…the detail is beautiful, i love the sleeves and am totally digging the cold shoulder! YES!
verdict: keep
shirt {stitch fix} | jeans {stitch fix} | boots
4. skies are blue – moniqua cold shoulder blouse
5. judy blue – lynn distressed bootcut jean
this blouse was option 2 for date night and while i do like it and think it’s pretty, i don’t think i really need more than one ‘blouse’ type shirt right now. i do love the cold shoulder / back detail and i think this would be so pretty { and super lightweight} for summer, between the two shirts, i chose the other one!
as far as the jeans, they were at a great price point, and while i totally appreciate that, boot cut just doesn’t do much for my shape. i love wide leg, skinny and boyfriend style jeans and totally gave them a try hoping i would love them..but i just didn’t. one of the best things about stitch fix is trying new styles and mixing with pieces you love so you can find new styles you love!!
verdict {shirt + jeans} – return
