wellll double digits came a bit faster than i would have liked… holy moly 10 months!!

i was a week late last month which means it’s really only been 3 weeks since we’ve done a big update but it sure seems like there’s a whole lot of change!

our poor baby got the flu{s} this month and it sure took it’s toll. sweet boy landed himself in the er with some breathing problems paired with dehydration, scaring mama + daddy a bit more than we would have liked. we finally have our happy boy back but still trying to kick the habit of those late night snuggles…. the struggle is real.

so what’s new?!

– officially officially pulling to stand. i feel like i’ve been saying that forever but it’s official, he can do it!

– crawling progress. and i say progress because it’s still not super pretty or fast, but he’s got it down.

– waving hi + bye… and it’s the goofiest sweetest little wave in the world.. i have got to get it on camera.

– holding toy/food/object up to show us… and he is p r o u d!

– he’s literally eating us under the table and 100% eats more than his sisters…probably combined.. he eats almost anything but i’m still super hesitant with big chunks of meat…and obviously honey…and shellfish because my grandma is deathly allergic to it and i haven’t even tried it with the girls. boy can EAT

– teeeemper. bahaha i took a spoon of peanut butter away from sweet cheeks simply to scoop up some that had fallen and he legit yelled at me. ‘don’t be touchin my food mama…’ i can just hear it.

– taking steps when holding a hand/walker… these tiny toots got the hang of walking and i still think he might be taking steps before the actual real crawling happens!

– babble…legit baby babble with the furrowed eyebrows, it’s a fav!!

– standing independently… i had NO idea he could do this until trample stood him right on up and he just stood there?! like what?!?!

– LOVES to drink out of a sippy cup and open cup. he mainly drinks water but will have a little milk here and there. he’s got the soft spouts down but he refuses to hold the cup {insert eye roll…}

10 month schedule

8-830am: wake + nurse

9am: breakfast {pb+oatmeal+yogurt, fruit, cheerios, pb toast}

play / errands {sometimes will catnap in the car}

11am-12pm: nurse

1230-1pm: lunch {veggies + fruit + mac n cheese, chicken nuggets, pb+jelly, fish sticks}

1/2-4:30pm: nap
{when we’re home it’s usually 1ish, if we’ve been out running errands + there was a catnap, it’s usually closer to 2}

4:30pm: 6oz formula/breastmilk bottle

6pm: dinner {whatever we’re having!}

8pm: nurse, then 4oz bottle + bedtime routine

toy: little yellow chair + the play table

activity: bath time

i’m not sure how it’s possible but you just keep getting better and better.
i honestly never knew i could love like i love you…it’s just different. you have the most precious little demeanor and you’re hilarious…all at the same time. you give the best hugs when you get up in the morning and yet gaining your confidence to go exploring on your own. it absolutely blows my mind we’re nearing the one year mark and just how big you’ve gotten lately…we’ve been having SO much fun lately!

you’re favorite people in the world are your puppies, daddy and your sissy’s and you literally squeal in anticipation of virtually anything they do. you happily watch them run around you and seeing your love for them develop is the greatest mama gift i could ever ask for.

you’re the light of our days, buddy and i just don’t remember what it was like without your giggles and that sweet smile. that big one year mark is coming faster than i’d like and before i know it you’re going to be running around here with these big sisters. we love you SO much, sweet boy.. you have blessed us more than i could ever imagine.
