happy new year, friend!!
i can’t even believe january is here and we are starting a whole new year!
2016 has most certainly been a year in the books…from our big girls turning one to the news we’d be welcoming another sweet babe… we’ve grown, learned, laughed, cried, and everything in between.
i have such high hopes and can’t wait to see what 2017 brings our way. we know by now god’s plans far exceed any we could ever hope and i’m most certainly looking forward to our newest addition.

we welcomed in the new year with family {and let’s be honest, zach woke me up from a dead sleep in my jams on the couch} with our sweet babes just upstairs. it’s my perfect kinda new years snuggled with my bestsest.
one of my favorite moments at the end of the year with zach is recapping all of our highs and lows.. seeing how much we cram into each year makes me giggle and watching these two crazies grow up absolutely boggles my mind.

i took the biggest leap of faith at the start of the year and decided to hit ‘publish’ on my very first blog post!! so much growth in a year, and i couldn’t thank you all enough for all of your support!!  our big girls made such a huge leap in their development… sitting up by themselves and even taking their first baths together!!

still in our year of firsts, these little ladies stole our hearts for their first valentine’s day!!

the many faces of ducky started to emerge and crawling even began!

march had so many awesome awesome moments.. their first easter came with so much love and i couldn’t wait to give the their very first JSB tees!

…and sweet G turned one!

my big girls were almost one and were quickly becoming the best of friends… i turned into the third wheel and these two figured out how to make each other giggle all. the. time.

i discovered the world of matching with my littles…

and crawling wars were in full effect.

bah my babies turned onnnnne!!

we practically lived in our bathing suits and outside..

and the girls experienced their first red’s game!!

june

zach turned 32!

we walked to raise awareness and support for premature birth with march of dimes

and went to sanibel island for the first time as a family of four

july

fourth of july was spent with family and friends

zach and i celebrated our 4 year anniversary

the girls expeiernced their first ice cream date + i joined the dayton mom’s blog team!

august

i had a blast teaming up with some of my favorite small shops

i had so many moments failing at motherhood

the girls experienced their first trip to the aquarium

and we had our first ever staycation!!

september

so much worry as we faced lots of doctors appointments for ducky

the girls took their first trip to dale hollow!!

ducky got her new braces and these sassy pants started tumbling and it’s still one of our weekly favs!!

october

sissy love was at an all time high..

zach and i spent a much needed weekend away..

and we found out we were expecting!!

fall was in full swing and we went to every apple orchard, pumpkin patch and hayride!!

we wrapped up the month celebrating the sweetest mama to be with an adorable woodlands baby shower..

november

we started the month with our beautiful family pictures…those sweet sweet smiles, gah!!

and took a much needed weekend trip with our tribe..

the girls experienced their first election…

and played outside every chance they could sneak in!

december

we started the month out by announcing the biggest news!!

had so much fun decorating for the holidays

and cut down our last christmas tree as a family of 4!

mama got her lashes done

and we spent the most magical christmas in our jams with our family…just the way we like it!!

it wouldn’t be the holidays withoout a lotta sickness and a little hospital visit..so we wrapped up 2016 with some boogie wipes and snuggles!!

we rang in the new years with a lot of love surrounding our family and i ate up feeling our newest little addition have a party as we crawled under. life is certainly a lot different as the years go by and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
