our favorite nighttime heroes are taking a break from their action-packed adventures for some classic halloween traditions to help you and your crew have the best halloween, yet! we had the BEST time setting up our fall porch with some early halloween fun and there’s nothing my crew likes more than the whole fam getting in on it! from carving pumpkins to activity sheets and enjoying some sweet treats, we’re in the halloween spirit like never before! like most of 2020, our plans may look a bit different this year, but the fun isn’t cancelled with these 5 fun activities.
5 fun halloween activities with PJ Masks
1. carve the pumpkins!
is it even really halloween with kids if you don’t carve the pumpkins?! i’ll be honest, i totally pass off the slimy seed extractions to the babes and make sure to save them for some delicious pumpkin seeds later… but they love it! i typically use a spoon to get the last of the seeds out and then it’s onto the fun part! we’ve never used a stencil before and i wasn’t sure how it would go, but it was SO easy! i simply taped on the stencil then had the kids trace over the pattern. miller needed a bit of help, so after he did his ‘tracing’, i retraced the pattern with a bit more force to etch the pattern onto the pumpkin. of course, mama + daddy handled the actual carving {i always opt for the sharp knife since we’re carving upwards of 6 pumpkins these days!} then the kids put their cute pumpkin hats back on!

2. PJ masks activity sheets
another fan favorite in our house was the adorable + fun activity sheets! these sheets kept the babes entertained while mama + daddy finished up the carvings…and then some more while we enjoyed our delicious treats! these would also be an adorable addition to any ‘BOO boxes’ you’re doing with your friends, so download and print as many as you want and spread the love!

3. enjoy the sweet treats
it’s that time of year that allll the candy + sweets come out and this year will be no different. from caramel apples to candy corn, these 4 sweet peas certainly got their sweet tooth from their mama! another easy addition to those ‘BOO boxes’ for the friends, snag some individually wrapped candy for a tasty treat!
4. PJ Masks family costumes
if you’ve been around for any length of time, you know my love for family costumes runs DEEP! from last year’s baby shark to this years PJ masks, there is something so fun for the kids about seeing their parents get in on the fun. as mama to 4, i can appreciate the ease {and warmth here in ohio!} of these costumes and the kids LOVED them too!!
