if you missed the post friday {you can read it HERE} mills was hit hard with the flu and lila came down days later. our plans for hosting easter with cousins, grandparents and everyone in between needed to change. i was SO bummed because it’s one of my favorite holidays in spirit and celebration. i love everything about easter…from the baskets to church service, family to food, i was so sad to have 2 babies under the weather while we were hiding to keep our germs to ourselves! our amazing families did everything from providing food to sending flowers and baskets goodies to make sure we felt loved.. and at the end of the day, regardless of whether our bodies are sick, jesus is still there…He is risen and it is done.
we still had a day filled with our little family…we didn’t get dressed, we didn’t get that family pic…but zach and i climbed into bed, exhausted and full of love none the less.
