easter certainly looked a bit different this year but one thing is for sure, HE is risen!
we spent the weekend celebrating our Savior and this was the first year the girls were truly interested and asking questions about the story of easter. we watched a handful of YouTube videos to help further explain the easter story and worship songs were on repeat throughout the weekend.
while it certainly was without a full buffet of food, all family gathered around and the church services we all love, it was filled with grace, love, laughter and of course, an Easter egg hunt.
we finally put some real clothes on for the day and it actually felt glorious!
we woke the kids up from nap on saturday after much debate…the weather was supposed to be cold + raining all day sunday so we opted to quickly hide a few eggs and the baskets and it was such fun! it actually worked out great so that sunday was extremely low key and easy!
thankfully, i had completed all easter basket shopping at the end of february when i thought i would be having my hysterectomy at the end of march. it paid off given the circumstances and the crew had a bast full of target dollar spot goodies… coloring books, stickers, stationary, window art paint and a book.
it’s really just the maisley show… and for good reason.
cutie girl is as sweet as pie.
and miller consumed his weight in chocolate
we played outside, ate too much candy and praised Him for our blessings…our health, our family, and most of all, these 4 precious babes.
happy easter, friends, i hope you had the most wonderful easter!
