one of my favorite things about mamahood is wearing the babes and i get asked all the time which baby carrier is my favorite, and to be honest, i have 3! i use them all differently and they each have their place in my heart! i’m honestly not sure i could pick just one.
i will say i think there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to baby wearing…each with their own unique ‘challenges’. i can easily throw on any of these carriers in 1-3 minutes and be hands-free…well worth the time.
there are SO many benefits to wearing your baby…from bonding to being hands-free i simply can’t go without wearing my babes!

the wildbird ring sling

while i’ve used a ring sling with all my babes, i discovered the wildbird ring sling with maisley and guys i seriously didn’t know what i was missing. this is the carrier i probably get the most use out of because of how easy it is. i leave it threaded and keep it in the car because it’s my most used carrier especially with errands. they have multiple options when it comes to fabric, colors and lengths but with a quick survey you’ll figure out which little bird will be best for your use + age of babe! i chose the linen because of it’s breathability and the colors are just gorgeous.
the wildbird can be used for birth and recommended up to 35lbs…meaning i could still strap the girls in!

even zach uses the sling and picked it up very quickly!

the lillebaby soft structured carrier

my other most-used carrier… the lillebaby falls in the soft-structured carrier and can be strapped on in 2 ‘clicks’. i discovered the lillebaby with mills and if you asked zach, this would be his favorite carrier because of it’s simplicity. the 2 huge differences i’ve found in this carrier from other soft-structured carriers is the number of pockets and the head support.
i like my lillebaby the best when we’re active or if i’m going to be wearing maisley for a very long period of time…. like zoo trips and hiking! unlike other soft structured carriers, there’s no need for an infant insert and it’s also very breathable making it perfect for both summer + winter months. if i had to choose only one carrier, i would probably choose this one simply for the longevity of wear.

it’s foolproof and we get so much use out of it!

the solly baby wrap

the solly is my favorite way to wear the babes as infants… unlike other wraps, i LOVE the fabric because it’s lightweight, easy to manage and there isn’t SO MUCH of it that i feel like we’re drowning in it. it’s hands down my favorite wrap and the snuggly first few months are spent with my solly! i discovered the solly wrap with miller and never looked back. it mimics the womb and is hip-healthy certified and it’s maisley’s favorite way to nap!!
the solly is great for newborns up to 25 pounds and trust me when i say we use it the whole way!!
