L + P’s 4th birthday | paint party at dabble

well we’re a week into the ‘four’s’ with the girls and we are still talking about how much FUN we had at their birthday party, hosted at dabble art studio! if you’re local to the dayton area, i’m SO excited to share with you one of the coolest places to have your party!!

we have been going to ‘wee dabble’ on friday mornings for about 6 months and the kids have had a blast making friends and getting their hands on different forms of media and being artists. after 6 months of the kids checking to see if it was friday so they could go to dabble and paint with ms. angie, zach and i decided we would have the girls’ 4th birthday party at one of their favorite spots! angie {the sweetest gal you’ll ever meet + amazing business owner} was just as excited as we were and i knew it would be the best party ever…and it was!

i scheduled the party a few weeks in advance and worked with angie at dabble, spoonful {edible cookie dough} and ron’s pizza to pull together a an all-inclusive package to offer for parties..and trust me when i say this will take all the stress away from party planning….just show up + celebrate!

when the guests arrived, i read the girls’ favorite book… ‘i ain’t gonna paint no more!’ before all the kids went to pick out their pottery. there are a few different party options available at dabble based on age + interest. with the girls being 4 and most of their friends about the same age, we opted for the pottery painting and it was a hit!!

after the kids picked out what they wanted to paint, they chose 3 paint colors to take back to their seats to paint their masterpiece!

as the kids wrapped up their painting, they were invited to leave their mark on a community canvas that i’m going to hang in their playroom. it was a great transition activity and was open the whole party so the adults even jumped in to sign the ‘guestbook’.

once most of the kids were finished with their painting it was grub time…. and ron’s pizza for the win!! if you’re local to the dayton area and you haven’t tried ron’s, you are missing out. ron’s pizza tavern is a local family gem in downtown miamisburg with more than just pizza! everyone loves ron’s and if you’re looking for a stress free party, this is the way to do it! everyone chowed down and best of all for a party, it was easy. delicious + stress-free is SO much of a win!

then it was ‘cake’ time and singing! we took an alternate route in the cake department and while i was a little hesitant to not have a ‘cake’ for them since it’s a ‘birthday party’ this was the biggest hit and the kids are still talking about it!

enter: spoonful, the edible cookie dough place!

i had this vision to decorate cupcakes on painting pallets and when angie asked my thoughts on teaming up with spoonful to complete their party package, i didn’t think twice. we put a scoop of the most delicious edible cookie dough in the middle of the pallet with toppings in each section and the kids had so. much. fun. decorating their cookie dough scoop!
we stuck a candle in the middle of the girl’s scoops, sang and it was more than perfect.

for the adults, we scooped the cookie dough into a cup and everyone added their own toppings.. a cookie dough bar!

we wrapped the party up with some presents and then the girls handed out their party favors… ‘a rainbow to go’ complete with a dabble notepad + watercolor set!

just look at all those sweet faces!

it truly was SUCH a fun party…the kids all had a blast, got to be little artists and celebrate our big girls turning FOUR!!

if you’re searching for the perfect party destination in dayton for your toddler to teen…and even adult’s {girl’s night out is in my future} dabble has you covered! party packages are coming so whether you’re looking  for something all-inclusive and simply want to show up + celebrate…or you want to take care of the food + dessert on your own, angie will work with you to create the greatest party for your needs!

a HUGE thank you to angie {right – dabble owner} + molly {left} for helping us to make the best party, spoonful for the most delicious birthday treat and ron’s for the tastiest of pizza’s!
