wooooah am i behind in updates! our big girls turned 4 last month and i’m just now getting around to updates for our big girls! this space originally was created as a way for me to keep a ‘baby’ book of sorts and these are my favorite types of posts to look back on. as the days/months/years go by, it’s amazing how much you forget but these days…man these days i don’t ever want to forget. the good. the bad. the crazy. the messy. the beautiful… i want them all.

you are probably the toughest kid i’ve ever met. you deal with pain on a daily basis i will never understand and you rarely let it show.
you just got your new knee brace {along with your batman AFO} and it’s been life changing and i love the way you answer ‘it’s my superhero brace and it helps me to run like batman’ when someone asks what your braces are for.
you pack a backpack wherever you go and bring along the most random toys making sure you have something for maisley, miller and lila to play with.
you’re obsessed with anything cute and tiny.
your temper is starting to settle a bit {can’t say i’m hateful about that} and your growing into a bit more patience!
you come up with the most elaborate games and love to direct anyone who will pay attention to you
you’re obsessed with batman and have never seen a single movie, show, etc.
you started karate the weekend you turned 4 and it’s THE BEST thing ever. you’re best friend in class is harper and you adore mrs. renshi.
you love to play kitty and take care of your little animals.
you’re responsible. and honest. and follow almost all of the rules…unless your sister convinces you otherwise.
you love best friend sleepovers {sleeping in lila’s bed} and playing with mills.
you’ll happily hold maisley for an hour and take pride in changing her diaper.
oh sweet ducky. two and three was rough with your emotions and temper tantrums and you’ve all of a sudden just grown up. you’re SO smart. you know all of your letters + numbers. you can count to 60 and are working on letter sounds…and so badly want to learn to read. you’re a perectionist at heart and hate when you can’t do things the way you know something is supposed to be done. you’re kind. and inclusive and love to make new friends. you’re tough. and sensitive and girlfriend. you are going to change the world.

you’re in dance and are so proud to be this little ballerina! you adore miss sherri + miss norah and you’ve made leaps and bounds being independent! you’re recital is coming up and girlfriend i can’t WAIT to see you rock that stage in your unicorn costume!
outside is your oasis and you’d spend all day out there if i let you.
you want nothing more in life than to go to disney world and ask if i’ve booked our plane tickets on a daily basis.

lover of life…good golly girl you love life and all that it has to offer. you’re goofy and love to play and wear your heart on your sleeve. you have some big feelings and have become more emotional in the last few months, getting your feelings hurt frequently. 1:1 attention is your love language and you crave that time spent with just your daddy or i. you so badly want to be a big kid and do everything by yourself. you’ll be swimming independently this year and your drive to do everything is going to take you to incredible places. i love you so much, girly…i’m SO so proud of you and all you do.
