there are few things i love in life more than nakey little babes… those squishy little cheeks, that baby soft tush, little rubberband wrists + that big ol’ froggy belly. need i say more?!

as we come upon the winter months, the chill + dryness of the air starts to wreak havoc on those sweet cheeks and i begin noticing the littlest cracks that very quickly turn to redness + irritation on their delicate skin. there are a few things i learned pretty early on with the girls that i simply haven’t changed since i’ve become a bit more ‘experienced’, skin care being one of them..cuz if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

when the girls were itty bitty, they had super sensitive skin and it seemed like every time we got out of the bath or put lotion on, their skin was just getting worse…especially when the temps were chilly. we finally found a solution that provided immediate relief to their irritations with aveeno. after we had gotten their skin under control, i had picked up a bottle of the baby calming comfort lotion to try after bath time and it quickly became part of our nighttime routine…not to mention it smelled delicious and i just couldn’t stop kissing their little cheeks!!

when mills came along, i didn’t even bother buying anything else because aveeno was a brand i trusted to care for my baby’s delicate skin. as a new mama, you have so many things flooding your mind, making you worry all the time.. it’s so nice to be able to check one of those items off knowing i don’t have to search for a quality skin care line for his delicate skin. so when the great folks at aveeno reached out, i was so excited to share our aveeno love!

our usual nighttime routine involves a bath with the aveeno baby calming comfort bath followed by a good rub down using my favorite, delicious smelling lotion…clearly making for the yummiest little babes!
the lavender makes winding down for bedtime that much easier as we snuggle in to read books before we say our prayers.

these winter months call for an extra layer of protection and i’ve found that one quick application of the aveeno baby daily moisturizing lotion in the morning is enough to keep their skin hydrated {and my own hands too} throughout the day.

it’s the giggles, the splashes, the laughter + the chaos that make these tiny moments my favorite moments with my 3 babes.
